Crystal writes: We had a C-Section with our first daughter due to fetal distress. Though we were very thankful that our daughter was healthy, it wasn't the birth I had imagined. I felt that if we had more support and an advocate on our side, we could've avoided the c-section.
2 years later when we got pregnant with our second baby, we decided to try for a VBAC and knew we needed all the support we can get. Julie came highly recommended by a friend--and she absolutely lived up to our expectations. Julie was simply amazing! From the prenatal meetings, throughout labor and even weeks after the birth with advice and tips that saved us a lot of heartache.
With Julie's help we were able to get through a VBAC, despite incredibly strong contractions early on (and waiting 2 hours for the epidural!) Her support--physical, emotional, spiritual--and knowledge in speaking with the hospital staff was invaluable. When I thought of giving up on a VBAC, she helped me get through it and give birth to an 8pound 5 ounce baby boy.

I can sum it up in one sentence. Julie Morris is wonderful.
When my husband, Jeff, daughters, Naomi & Simone, and I met her, we instantly liked her and knew she would be our doula because she exudes positivity.
What a wonderful experience it was bringing Claire into the world. We decided that her debut would occur with as little medical intervention as possible. Having Julie assist us made her birth everything we hoped it would be and more. We expected Julie to mainly assist me with coping with the physical discomfort of having a baby. However, she was so much more than a pain management coach.
More than anything, Julie is a caring friend. She was there when we needed her...for whatever we needed.
Thank you, Julie, for helping to make me feel like a superwoman. That feeling will never go away!
