Heather:  "While trying to prepare for a VBAC I realized that I was going to need support emotionally and mentally and I received that from Julie.  She helped us feel more confident before the birth and when I went into labor as well as in the hospital during the birth because we encountered some unexpected roadblocks.  I felt we had a friend definitely on our side."

John:  "Julie is focused on family.  Her focus on family allowed us to focus on our family.  During a time when we were unsure as to what would happen with our birth, Julie was there to provide whatever support we needed.  Simply amazing."

Tina:  "I am a first time mother and was clueless on how to approach and conquer labor. I was referred to Julie for her Doula services. I thought who would be able to help my husband and I through this process other than an experienced Doula. Julie's services was more than I expected. The first time that I met her she was very friendly, warm, and inviting. After our first meeting, I was convinced that Julie would support what ever decisions we made and keep us on track in meeting them. Julie has lots of knowledge which helped us feel more comfortable as to what to expect during the labor and how to approach the birthing process. I felt as though I had nothing extra to worry about with Julie by our side at all times. We followed my birth plan the best that we could and had a wonderful birthing experience. Thanks Julie!"

Crystal writes:  We had a C-Section with our first daughter due to fetal distress.  Though we were very thankful that our daughter was healthy, it wasn't the birth I had imagined.   I felt that if we had more support and an advocate on our side, we could've avoided the c-section.
2 years later when we got pregnant with our second baby, we decided to try for a VBAC and knew we needed all the support we can get.  Julie came highly recommended by a friend--and she absolutely lived up to our expectations.  Julie was simply amazing! From the prenatal meetings, throughout labor and even weeks after the birth with advice and tips that saved us a lot of heartache.
With Julie's help we were able to get through a VBAC, despite incredibly strong contractions early on (and waiting 2 hours for the epidural!) Her support--physical, emotional, spiritual--and knowledge in speaking with the hospital staff was invaluable.  When I thought of giving up on a VBAC, she helped me get through it and give birth to an 8pound 5 ounce baby boy.

I can sum it up in one sentence. Julie Morris is wonderful.

When my husband, Jeff, daughters, Naomi & Simone, and I met her, we instantly liked her and knew she would be our doula because she exudes positivity.

What a wonderful experience it was bringing Claire into the world. We decided that her debut would occur with as little medical intervention as possible. Having Julie assist us made her birth everything we hoped it would be and more. We expected Julie to mainly assist me with coping with the physical discomfort of having a baby. However, she was so much more than a pain management coach.

More than anything, Julie is a caring friend. She was there when we needed her...for whatever we needed.

Thank you, Julie, for helping to make me feel like a superwoman. That feeling will never go away!
